MNFF
Born in 1973, the photographer and artist MNFF exhibits his new work, pop gallery to North American influences. Orchestrated dominant light gray, colored white and punctuated with red chips, his paintings reveal the pace and strength of large cities photographed by MNFF.
His work is the result of 20 years of research, techniques of assembly, materials, for the sole purpose of proposing a possible architecture through photography, painting on background of newspaper articles and diversity of contents that MNFF .
His works evoke the spirit of the Big Apple or Paris, via icons in the world of comics and pop art. Initially working on canvas, and now on aluminum, with new techniques, this talented artist continues to surprise his audience with his latest works.
MNFF gives us to see New York as it imposes on our imagination, flashy, playful, nervous, with its multicolored lights, its teeming life, heroes of comics and the omnipresence of The New York Times.
The apparent evidence of paint MNFF however, is not a coincidence but rather the result of many years of research. Because before becoming MNFF, Manuel Freda Nelson Fabiano, many fumbled, starting with the airbrush, “a fun technique for instant results,” then time to invest in a more academic learning to paint, using techniques mixed on wood or canvas, mixing collages, photographs, ink, charcoal, drippings …
Today it adapts to all media, all technical mastery, he mixes flawlessly note in very graphic compositions mixing photos, collages, bomb, or flakes in a profusion of bright colors very representative of Pop style art.
In 1997, he participated in the Contemporary Art Fair in Brussels, Belgium.
In 1998 he exhibited at the Salon Tortosa (Tarragona, Spain).
In 2004, he participated in the Salon d’Automne.
MNFF is a member of the Taylor Foundation and the House of Artists in Paris.
