Between painting and sculpture mural, the works of David Zac reflect its eclectic taste for the world of creation artistic.
He plays with the materials and the cult objects for develop your favorite themes in 3D, in a clean style that he called “3D WALL ART”
French artist born in 1964 in Paris, David Zac lives and works in Lille.
Passionate about contemporary and urban art, David draws his inspiration from Arman’s Neorealism, César, J Villeglé, Warhol’s American Pop Art, Robert Rauschenberg, and Jackson Pollock’s Abstract Expressionism. He is particularly fond of the themes of music, photography, fashion, graffiti, and icons. A lover of travel, open spaces and freedom, he also shares his world of mythical motorcycles and legendary cars. Women are sublimated in his work and are essential characters in his creations. He composes his mixed media artwork around cult objects; always authentic, often musical instruments (guitars, violins, saxophones), cameras, Harley Davidson or vintage car parts.
He then plays with Aerosol and acrylic paint but also collage l, sometimes neon signs, to tell their story thus completing the mixed-media artwork (an exciting mix of painting, collage and sculpture).
In 2018 two pieces of His work has been selected by the Saatchi Gallery for digital expositionin London : Young International Artist .
David currently exhibit in Galleries in London, Paris, Geneva, Brussels, Courchevel, Gstaad,Megeve, St Tropez, Lille and Reims.
